Japanese Poem

Last weekend, I had a class on how to made a poem in a Japanese style..
A Japanese poem...a classical written by the oldish. It can be anything that you want to describe about in a short form.

It's divided into three categories (If I'm not mistaken).

i. Haiku (the easiest ones..just google it)
ii. Cinquain
iii. Quatrain

Each category has their own style or we called it as a rhyme..
In Cinquain, it consists of three formats. Each format has their own rules. (I've listed only two)

Format 1
Line 1: one word
Line 2: two words
Line 3: three words
Line 4: four words
Line 5: one word

Example:
Rainbow,
Attracting,colorful,
7 colors together,
Can see after rain,
Wonderful.

Format 2
Line 1: noun
Line 2: two adjectives
Line 3: three words that end with -ing
Line 4: a phrase
Line 5:noun

Example:
Germany,
Classical,Modern,
Loving,Enjoying,Dreaming,
Dreams come true,
Me.

I tried to made my own version in Quatrain rhyme...
Here it was...

Research,Study,Work, Career,
Painful, Frustrated, Selfish, Hardship,
These words describe Me,
Now, I feel meaningful..............

p/s thanx Siti Arfah for sharing these with us!!
